Drinking Hefeweizen makes me think of skipping through meadows on the way to a German beer hall, being greeted by buxom beer wenches on a sunny European day. What a cracking summer beer it is and a fine example of the style provided here by Six String. It’s made from 50% wheat and 50% barley malts and pours in a typically cloudy, yeast fashion. You will note the traditional banana flavour that is a must for this style - but in this case it’s not too heavy. This beer goes great with a piece of white fish or some prawns.
