Australia | IPA | 7%
The crew at Moon Dog come across all madcap but don’t let the wild labels and crazy titles fool you – these brewers seriously know their stuff and this IPA fast got itself a reputation for being one of the cleanest, most refined of its kind being produced in Australia. Using two rounds of dry hopping with Cascade, Amarillo and Centennial, the Jukebox is designed to show off the bitter beauty of its all American hops. There’s plenty of pine and stonefruit on the nose and some bready notes get a look in but the malt backbone is restrained - you might even say it’s elegant. Probably not a quality you’ll be exhibiting after downing a couple of these. For a 7%, boy does it go down easily!
