Think IPA meets Belgian witbier. They have a passionate cross-cultural affair and produce this very cosmopolitan baby, the Moa Southern Alps. Hopped and dry hopped with New Zealand’s own Nelson Sauvin along with Citra from the US, this white IPA has the distinctive cool-climate fruitiness of the former and the bold citrus character of the latter. It’s hard not to resist the aroma which weaves its magic with grapefruit, lemon grass, banana, and lychee – so we say don’t even try. With the assertive bitterness of a classic IPA and the spicy hint of coriander we associate with a Belgian Wit, we love the complexity of the taste and the long, clean finish. In 500ml and at 6.4% this baby is a big ‘un for sure and will have you coo-ing and singing lullabys well after lights out!
