Belgian | Belgian Ale | 8%
If you have tried some honey style beers in the past you may be forgiven from shying away from the style. But this beer has been perfected over the last 25 years by one of Belgium’s top breweries. Its bottle fermented, giving it a cloudy, golden appearance.
The nose carries some orange peel but is dominated by the sweet honey smell. The pleasing surprise is that the dominant taste is actually not the sweet honey (although it is there) but the strong maltiness. ABV is 8% and helps cut through any of the sweetness. Thanks to all the bees who helped in the making of this brew.
