Well this beer is going to split people right down the middle. For Beer Days, it reminds us of sipping Laphroaig Single Malt 12 YO Scotch whisky by a fire. It is really smoky. Only 10% of the malts actually go through the peating process but man, you can taste it. You probably can’t have too many of these but it’s worth drinking for the experience. And it’s actually pretty smooth. I would take one after a meal, or any time you’d normally settle down for a whisky. You’ll also note some biscuit, caramel and malt flavours poking their nose through the haze.
