Australia | Amber Ale | 4.7%
Killer beer from a killer brewery. The Amber Ale
was the first beer out of the blocks for the team at
The Sprocket. And when you set the benchmark this high, expectations follow. It pours a reddy brown
colour with a thin beige head. The flavours are all
what you’d expect from a good amber ale but bigger than you’d expect for a 4.7% ABV. Heaps of toffee and caramel and a mild nuttiness make it really long on the palate. But it still manages to poke through some citric bitterness to round off the brew and get you ready for the next sip. I’d call this a main meal beer - drink it with a winter roast.
